ACT allows the user to change material of the bodies or elements during solving a problem.

The material properties are supported in Version 1:

  • Density(constant or depend on temperature)
  • Elasticsity: Isotropic or Orthotropic (constant or depend on temperature)

Test problem:

  • Fixed at bottom face
  • Applied Pressure on the top face of body
  • Initial, assign the Structural Steel for the body
  • Use ACT to change one third in the middle to Polyethylene, one third in the right to Aluminum Alloy
