Consider two plates (AA2195) have the dimensions 610 x 102 x 8.1mm.
The welding tool has a shoulder diameter 25.4mm and pin diameter 10mm.

Friction Stir Welding ACT is used to define the Heat source, pin-shoulder radius, started weld point (through Coordinate system), weld line, weld speed and cooling time.
